UPDATE: In addition to handling my case, he also handled the expungement process for me and, even with the pandemic/court delays, he was able to get it sealed!! Christopher is an awesome attorney and I would seek his legal counsel in the future (but hopefully I won't have to do so). When I received a court citation (speeding-related), I went through a process of interviewing different attorneys to determine which one I wanted representing me. When I held my initial conversation with Christopher and presented the facts to him, he was very confident (but approachable) and provided me with a high-level strategy for how he could get my case dismissed. Mr. Mutimer was a great attorney and exceeded my expectations. This was a second offense DUI and I was fully prepared to have to take a guilty plea. After talking with Christopher he reassured me that if we requested a trial we could get a better deal than a suspended jail term. Up until the day of my hearing I was unsure due to the fact that the state said they would enhance my changes if I requested a trial. The morning of Christopher invited me to the office to watch my body cam footage with him so he could once again reassure me. After this meeting I decided to put it all in Christopher’s hands and we requested a trial. Two months before my trial, the prosecutors office decided to accept a deferred sentence and I entered the deferred sentencing process. One year later my case was dismissed and I didn’t even have to return to DC or stand in front of a judge. From the beginning it was obvious that Christopher was well known within the court house and as a result I felt so much more comfortable. From having my hearing first on the docket to negotiating with the prosecutors with a simple in person conversation or email. I highly recommend Christopher to everyone, especially those who wish to maintain a clean record.
